Adam Simon, composer

Adam Simon (b. 1987) is a composer, versatile instrumentalist, and folk music enthusiast. He studied composition with Howard Frazin, and theory and Solfege with the great Judith Ross. He recently won the Emerging Artist Award from the St. Botolph Club Foundation to record his new String Quartet with the Mt. Auburn String Quartet. He has traveled the States, Europe, and South Africa performing folk song and dance with Northern Harmony, Village Harmony, and The Renewal Chorus. He has a wide range of musical interests; you might find him playing Chopin preludes in the den, singing from The Sacred Harp with friends, or, perhaps, attending an art-song soiree. Adam grew up in Cambridge, MA.
